Author Guidelines

GENERAL GUIDELINES:

  1. The paper needs to be one of the following; research paper, literature review, conceptual paper, or viewpoints in multidisciplinary in community service.
  2. The paper has not been published previously and it is not under consideration for publication in other journals or any kind of publication.
  3. Plagiarism/similarity index does not exceed 30%
  4. The manuscript should be submitted by online submission at https://journal.literasisainsnusantara.com/index.php/tirakat.
  5. Jurnal Terobosan Peduli Masyarakat (TIRAKAT) accepts papers submitted in softcopy and Microsoft Word format (*.doc, *.docx).
  6. It is within the rights of the Editor to make any change in the submitted paper for proofreading purposes, without changing the paper’s content.

WRITING GUIDELINES:

  1. The manuscript needs to be written in English or Indonesian.
  2. The manuscript should be written using an available template within 8 to 20 pages.
  3. The citation and references are referred to the American Psychological Association (APA) (Seventh/7th Edition) style. We recommend using a reference application management such as EndNote, Mendeley, Zotero, or References Tab on Microsoft Word.

 THE STRUCTURE OF PAPER

1. For research paper:

Title

The title should be concise.

Author’s name

The author’s name should not be disclosed without a title. The author also needs to disclose his/her institution, country of origin, and email address.

Abstract

The abstract of the paper needs to be written in both Indonesian and English. It consists of research purposes, research methods, and its results or findings. The abstract is required to be concise, and thorough, and it should not be more than 150 words.

Keywords

Keywords consist of some words which represent the topic described in the paper. It should not be more than five concepts.

Introduction

The introduction describes the research background, research question, and purpose, and also describes some preliminary research that is related to the research question.

Method

This section describes research planning and design. This section should describe the type of research, the research’s subject and object, the research instrument, and the data analysis method.

Finding and Discussion

This section explains instrument testing, hypothesis testing (if any), research findings, data analysis and interpretation, and discussion.

Conclusion

This section presents the conclusion of the paper, based on the results and analysis described in the previous section. This section can also present research implications, limitations, and recommendations.

Acknowledgments (if needed)

Collate acknowledgment at the end of the article before the references. List here those individuals who provided help during writing the paper (e.g., funding your research project, providing language help, writing assistance, or proofreading the article, etc.).

References

This section lists all references which are used and cited in the paper.

2. For the literature review, Conceptual Paper, or viewpoint paper:

Title

The title should be concise.

Author’s name

The author’s name should not be disclosed without a title. The author also needs to disclose his/her institution, country of origin, and email address.

Abstract

The abstract of the paper needs to be written in both Indonesian and English. It is a summary of the paper which represents an overview of the problems discussed in the paper. Abstract is required to be concise and it should not be more than 150 words.

Keywords consist of some words which represent the topic described in the paper. It should not be more than five concepts.

The introduction describes the main problem and question analyzed in the paper, their background, and the purpose of the paper.

Method

This section describes research planning and design. This section should describe the type of research, the research’s subject and object, and the analysis method.

Analysis and Discussion

This section discusses the problem and main question of the paper. This section can consist of an analysis or argumentation of the issue discussed in the paper.

Conclusion

The author provides a conclusion about the issue discussed in the paper, including recommendations or alternative opinions (if any).

Acknowledgments (if needed)

Collate acknowledgment at the end of the article before the references. List here those individuals who provided help during writing the paper (e.g., funding your project, providing language help, writing assistance, or proofreading the article, etc.).

References

This section lists all references which are used and cited in the paper.
