Technology and Society Perspectives (TACIT) publishes scholarly contributions examining the relationships between technological development and social, economic, cultural, institutional, and environmental change.

Manuscripts must demonstrate originality, academic relevance, methodological or conceptual rigor, and a clear contribution to knowledge.

1. Original Research Articles

Original research articles present new findings based on quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods research.

Manuscripts should explain the research problem, theoretical background, methods, findings, discussion, and scholarly implications.

2. Review Articles

Review articles critically examine existing scholarship to identify research developments, theoretical debates, methodological limitations, and opportunities for future research.

Systematic, scoping, integrative, and narrative literature reviews may be considered when they demonstrate transparent analytical procedures and meaningful scholarly contributions.

3. Conceptual and Theoretical Articles

Conceptual and theoretical articles develop, refine, integrate, or critically evaluate theories, concepts, and analytical frameworks relevant to technology and society.

Manuscripts should present coherent arguments, engage critically with existing scholarship, and establish their theoretical contributions.

4. Case Study Articles

Case study articles provide in-depth analyses of organizations, communities, technologies, public policies, institutions, or social phenomena.

They must demonstrate a systematic analytical approach and explain the broader scholarly or practical significance of the case.
