Digital transformation has become increasingly important for educational institutions seeking to improve management effectiveness and institutional competitiveness. This study aims to examine digital transformation strategies and their potential contributions to educational management in the digital economy. Using a narrative literature review, the study synthesizes 30 primary sources comprising 28 journal articles and two institutional reports. The findings identify five interconnected themes: organizational transformation, digital strategy and institutional readiness, digital leadership and competence, management effectiveness, and institutional competitiveness and governance. The synthesis indicates that successful digital transformation requires strategic planning, organizational capacity, competent human resources, and integrated digital governance. This study proposes the Integrated Digital Transformation and Educational Competitiveness Framework, connecting digital strategies and organizational capacity with management effectiveness and institutional competitiveness. The framework offers a conceptual foundation for developing sustainable digital transformation strategies in educational institutions, although the proposed relationships require further empirical validation across diverse educational contexts.
