The concept of digital bureaucracy emerges as a strategic approach to enhance efficiency, transparency, and the quality of public services. This study aims to analyze the role of digital bureaucracy in the transformation of public administration in the digital government era. The research method employed is a literature review with a qualitative and descriptive analysis approach. Data were obtained from scientific articles and credible sources published between 1990 and 2025 via Google Scholar and official institutional websites. Out of 50 identified articles, 31 were selected through a rigorous selection process based on relevance and academic quality. The findings indicate that digital bureaucracy plays a significant role in improving bureaucratic efficiency, public service integration, as well as governmental transparency and accountability. Case studies from various countries, such as Estonia, South Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, and India, show that the success of digital bureaucracy implementation is highly influenced by institutional readiness, human resource capacity, system integration, and sustainable policies. This study aims to analyze the role of social media in transforming how Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) interact with consumers through the perspective of FOMO. The research adopts a qualitative approach using a literature review method, in which data were obtained from scientific articles and credible online sources published between 2013 and 2025. From an initial pool of 50 articles, a rigorous selection process resulted in 25 articles being used as the basis for analysis. The findings indicate that social media functions as a strategic medium that enables MSMEs to leverage FOMO to increase engagement, sales, and brand awareness. A case study from the bakery industry in the United Kingdom demonstrates that campaigns based on exclusive and time-sensitive content are able to stimulate rapid consumer responses and expand digital interactions. This study highlights the importance of content creativity, an understanding of digital audiences, and precise timing to ethically maximize the effects of FOMO. The implications of this research include the development of digital marketing strategies for MSMEs and theoretical contributions to consumer behavior studies in the era of social media.
2025-12-25T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Contemporary Administration and Management (ADMAN) https://journal.literasisainsnusantara.com/index.php/adman/article/view/315 The Catalyst of Change A Literature Review on the Effect of Entrepreneurial Mindset on Business Innovation 2025-12-23T15:41:12+00:00 Utami Tunjung Sari ut.sari19@gmail.com Ascasaputra Aditya ascasaputra.feuwmy@gmail.com Bhenu Artha bhenoz27@gmail.com
In today’s volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) environment, business innovation has shifted from being a strategic advantage to an essential condition for organizational survival. Firms that fail to innovate risk obsolescence in rapidly changing markets. This article presents a comprehensive literature review exploring the relationship between the Entrepreneurial Mindset (EM) and business innovation, drawing on empirical studies and theoretical frameworks published between 2020 and 2025. The findings consistently demonstrate that EM functions as a foundational antecedent to innovation, shaping how individuals and organizations respond to uncertainty and opportunity. Key cognitive dimensions of EM, such as risk propensity, tolerance for ambiguity, and proactive orientation, emerge as direct drivers of product innovation, process improvements, and digital transformation initiatives. These traits enable entrepreneurs and managers to identify opportunities, experiment with novel solutions, and adapt to disruptive technologies. Importantly, the review underscores that innovation operates as a mediating mechanism between EM and sustainable business performance. In other words, while mindset provides the cognitive foundation, it is the translation of entrepreneurial thinking into innovative practices that ensures long-term competitiveness. By integrating diverse perspectives, this review highlights the strategic importance of cultivating EM within organizations, positioning it as a catalyst for resilience, adaptability, and sustainable growth in the VUCA era.
2025-12-25T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Contemporary Administration and Management (ADMAN)
